Flavoured green-tea powder

Energy: ~320–400 kcal / 100 g depending on sugar content (typical) (planning figure - the product label is the final reference)

~320–400 kcal / 100 g depending on sugar content (typical)
Energy density
320–400 kcal / 100 g
Basis
Per 100 g — a weight. Applying it to a volume would be wrong.
Example, at 30 g
320–400 kcal / 100 g × 30 g ÷ 100 = ≈ 96–120 kcal

A planning figure, not a laboratory analysis. It is here so a recipe can be reasoned about, not so it can be declared on a menu.

How energy is derived

Shelf life: Sealed dry: often 12–18 months per label. Keep sealed and dry after opening.

Storage: Dry store, sealed against humidity; clumping means moisture got in.

  • Quick flavoured green-tea lattes and frappés
  • Shaken iced green-tea drinks
  • Not a substitute where a recipe specifies real matcha

Usually pre-sweetened — the sugar is already in the powder, so dose syrups accordingly; WHO guidance keeps added sugar under 10% of daily energy, ideally 5%. Some latte-style mixes add milk powder — the label is final.
