Barista training drills

Play a shift at the bar or practise one skill in the Training Lab. Every attempt is judged against the AlyOps SOPs; every simulated value is labelled.

The drills and the shift run in the browser and need JavaScript. Every attempt is judged against these procedures:

• Espresso extraction SOP - the dose, yield and time each shot is judged against
• Milk steaming SOP - the stretch, the whirlpool and the stop each pitcher is judged against, with the drink's own SOP
• Bar opening procedure - the shift's opening checklist, one step at a time
• Latte - the shift's order: its build, its quality checks and its service target
• Bar closing procedure - the shift's closing, the waste record and the handover
• Extraction & calibration engine - to dial in a real shot at the machine
